NOTICEBOARD
This year the GAA Hurling Feile na nGael is being hosted jointly by Laois/Offaly. As a competing club we will be hosting the Kildare champions, Celbridge who like ourselves are competing in both Féile na nGael and Féile na nÓg. The 2008 Feile na nÓg competition will be held in Cavan. Our host club is St. Patricks, Donagh, Co. Fermanagh.
March 8th Hurling Blitz - Coolderry at 10.30 am.
April 12th Hurling Blitz - Coolderry at 10.30 am.
April 19th & 20th Feile County Football Group Stage - Saturday, 19th :: Tubber - Starting at 10 am
Semi Finals and Final - Sunday, 20th :: Tullamore - Starting at 10 am
May 3rd Hurling Blitz - Rathdowney/Erril at 7 pm in Erril.
Wednesday, May 14th - St. Cynoc's National School, Ferbane

Friday, June 20 th
13:00 pm approx. Arrival of visiting team, Celbridge GAA
Refreshments for visitors in Moystown GAA clubrooms
13:45 pm Official Welcome and presentation of teams. Introduction of host families to visiting team.
14:55 pm Amhrán na bhFiann
15:00 pm 1 st Round Feile Hurling match – Ferbane/Belmont V Celbridge (RESULT - DRAW 2-6 Each)
16:00 pm Meal for both teams in Moystown GAA clubrooms
16:45 pm Both teams and mentors travel to Portlaoise for Feile Parade
18:30 pm Feile Parade in Portlaoise
22:00 pm (approx) Teams arrive back in Ferbane. Celbridge players to be collected by hosting families. (Venue: Church Car Park, Ferbane)
Saturday, June 21 st
08:50 am Both teams depart from Ferbane (Church Car Park) for O'Connor Park, Tullamore.
10:00 am 2 nd Round Feile match - Tullamore V Celbridge (RESULT - Celbridge 6-7 Tullamore 2-1)
11:00 am 2 nd Round Feile match – Ferbane/Belmont V Bray Emmets (RESULT - F/B 0-5 Bray Emmets 1-7)
12:15 pm 3 rd Round Feile match - Ferbane/Belmont V Tullamore (RESULT - F/B 9-5 Tullamore 4-2)
13:15 pm 3 rd Round Feile match – Celbridge V Bray Emmets (RESULT - Celbridge 2-4 Bray Emmets 0-4)
Celbridge win Division 2 Section D and progress to Division 2 Semi-Final
7.30 pm Semi Final in Kinnitty at 7.30 pm. (RESULT - Celbridge 0-3 St. Johns, Antrim 2-13)
Sunday, June 22 nd
11:00 am Both teams attend Mass in Ferbane Church .
12 Noon Team(s) departing for Portlaoise or home

July 4th - Travel to our host club : St. Patricks, Donagh Co. Fermanagh
July 4th at 3pm - Feile 1st Round match V St. Patricks in Donagh. (F/B 4-7 Donagh 1-4)
July 5th - Both Teams travel to Ballyhaise to complete Div. 2 Group stages of Feile.
(Round 2: F/B 4-11 Castletara 0-2. Round 3: F/B 2-9 Ballinteer/St.Johns 2-2
July 5th - Division 2 Semi-Final: F/B 0-5 Aghamore, Mayo 0-6)
July 6th - National Feile Football Finals - Kingspan Breffni Park, Cavan.
Ferbane/Belmont U14 footballers had a fantastic run in the Division 2 Feile reaching the Divsion 2 Semi-Final where they lost to the eventual winners, Aghamore from Mayo by the narrowest of margins. Full results are on the results page of this website.
We would like to thank most sincerely our host club, St. Patricks of Donagh, Co. Fermanagh for their Welcome, warmth and hospitality over the weekend. We wish to thank everyone who supported the team for Feile na nÓg 2008.
