Medal Presentation for 2010 Championships

Niall McNamee (Rhode & Offaly Star) was the guest of honour at the Minor Club's medal presentation night in High St. on March 4th. Ferbane/Belmont honoured their underage stars who completed a clean sweep of Football 'A' titles as well as the Offaly Féile na nÓg in 2010.

A magnificent display of hurling skill was displayed by the U12 hurlers at the Inaugural Ferbane & Shannonbridge Parish Hurling challenge which took place in Moystown on Sunday, June 19th, 2011.

The Under 12 Footballers who participated in the Laois Tournament in O'Moore Park on August 12th.
The Under 10 Hurlers who gave a great account of themselves at a blitz in Dicksboro, Kilkenny on September 3rd. They won three of their 4 matches beating Naas GAA in the second place group final.
Ferbane/Belmont U6 and U8 Football teams who lined out in challenge games hosted by DER Gaels in Pullough on Sunday, September 4th.

On Friday November 11th , The Ferbane/Belmont Minor Club combined with the Ferbane/DSB Ladies club to present awards to all the winning teams from both clubs in 2011. A phenomenally succesful year was celebrated in style with a huge attendance on the night which was followed by refreshments and a disco. Special guests on the night were: Mr. Pat Quill (President Ladies Football Association), Donie Shine (Clan na nGael & Roscommon Star), Lorraine Keena & Siobhan Flannery (Offaly Camogie) as well as representatives from both Offaly Bórd na nÓg and Offaly Ladies GAA.
Special thanks to Mr. John Irwin & his staff for making the Gallen Community School available to us. A fantastic venue for the event.
