Welcome to the Ferbane/Belmont Minor GAA Club. The club has been in existance since 1987 and was founded by Fr. Michael Campbell and we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary this coming year.

Our aims are to provide a safe, healthy, sporting and enjoyable outlet for children in the parish through the medium of Gaelic Games. In these times it is vital that children have recreation facilities available to them. The club activities give children a great outlet to expend their energy and an opportunity to improve their football and hurling skills thus building confidence and self esteem. Our club competes in 11 competitions annually from Minor Football and Hurling championships to under-8 tournaments. In recent years we have enjoyed considerable success in these competitions and are currently county champions in U14, U16 and Minor A Football as well as Minor B champions in Hurling. 2011 will undoubtedly go down as one of the most momentous in the history of GAA in this area with Gallen CS winning their first all-Ireland senior title and the Ferbane/DSB girls capturing the All-Ireland Féile at their first attempt. In addition to all that, 44 Leinster medals and an Offaly Community Games title were achieved by club members.

Many thanks to all our Players, Managers, Selectors, and Supporters. I especially thank all our Sponsors and Supporters who contribute so generously to the Club each year. Our sincere thanks to the Ferbane and Belmont senior clubs for the use of their facilities in Ferbane and Moystown.

As well as being the 25th anniversary of the club, the Féile Peile na nÓg competitions will be hosted by Laois/Offaly from June 22nd to June 24th, 2012. Ferbane/Belmont will be hosting a visiting team for that weekend and if it's anything like the experiences we've had in the Féile competitions in recent years, then an action-packed few days is guaranteed.
